I have always admired the symmetry and beauty of seeds. I wonder at the potential they hold and marvel at their design. Not modeled after any particular seed, the look and feel of this piece is taken from many varieties with a focus on expressing hidden potential.
Seed is also the first piece with which I am going to venture into the world of bronze casting. I had this in mind while in the design stage, so I was concerned mostly with shape and structure, bearing in mind that the natural beauty that wood brings to a piece won't be a factor in a casting.
